Welcome to the Tutorials page. Here you will find a lot of Free SolidWorks Tutorials. Before you begin navigating the free SolidWorks tutorials, let me explain how they are categorized and exposed.

We have six categories:

I think those cover all the possibilities (for now).

Tutorials vs BreakDown:

There are tutorials in the complete sense of the word, with all the explanations to do things, and there will be "breakdowns", just the general overview of the modeling process, omitting some intermediate making steps.

I thing that for some models this is a good approach (using less space and going to what matters most).

Free Download page:

There are many tutorials that has files asociated with them, they are ready to download in the Free Download area. Also there are many downloadable files that are not asociated with tutorials, but that are very useful and interesting... so go and download them!.

Dear friends, lots of hours and efforts have gone into making these tutorials and other stuff. I think that in some way we are filling the gap that almost every SW user encounters when trying to learn the software: Those "vital" tutorials that really teach more than any book.
